1968 corvette that is pretty much all original except the engine and big block L-88 hood in primer that needs to be molded to match at the fenders area,this is a $400. hood plus the shipping so the car looks like an original big block car..(i have the original small block hood painted to match the car and all the wiper vacuum and wiper door assembly-).the car came with no options..manual steering,manual four wheel disk brakes..originally a 327 but now has a brand new $8000. 468 cu.in. big block with 585 horsepower..balanced and blueprinted with all documentation ,all ARP hardware,new eagle crank,rods stock K with arp hardware forged bevel head pistons .125 TRW dome,roller cam 510 lift 2.82 duration,comp lifters,comp pushrods,billet hydraulic lifters, SST manley hi-flow valves,scorpion roller rockers, air gap polished intake,moroso 8 quart oil pan, holley 800 double pumper,with pressure regulator braided fuel lines and pressure guages, edelbrock high performance fuel pump,mallory unilite high perf. distributer,msd blaster 2 coil,all polished aluminum pulleys,chrome 110amp alternator,comp cam#11-423-8 lift .510 exhaust 282, 1968 corvette big block heads completely worked, 2200-2600 stall convertor...brand new 2 1/2" stainless exhaust thru magna flow mufflers.automatic turbo 400 transmission leaks at the modulator..the car was a daily driver from the previous owner so the car is in very good condition but by no means a show car.i purchased the car with a small block and took it out and installed the new big block ,new exhaust,new tires,then bought the L-88 hood..the car is in nice condition if used as a driver.its very fast and drives good....the engine is brand new,the rest of the car is in good shape yet original..could use bushings,door rubber gaskets,window wiskers,door lock knobs,radio,door panels are fair.still has small block radiator w/electric fan set up..should be upgraded..emergency brake does not work..i have well over 20,000.. invested in this car and have lost interest sacrificing to purchase an antique harley. january 21, 2008. |
